JANUARY SALES BARGAINS.

Happy New Year everyone!

I know 2017 was quite a disappointing year for me and I've heard for many others too so I'm not going to start 2018 with a reflective post of the past year, I'm merely going to continue with my little space on the internet but much more care free this year. I'm simply going to care less about silly things, continue finding happiness in the smaller things and see what that brings me opposed to false hope and continued disappointment.
So, here's to an optimistic 2018 - let's see what you have in store!

Okay, now I've got the little 'welcome to 2018' introduction out of the way I'll get straight into this post. This year I honestly didn't see much at all in the end of year / january sales (which probably wasn't a bad thing for my bank account) but I popped into town on New Years Eve, I believe it was if i remember correctly and came across a section of Skinny Dip Beauty in the Boots sale section. I knew Skinny Dip had branched out to doing more than phone cases but I'd clearly missed the memo about the beauty part so as you can imagine when my tiny little magpie tendency of a brain saw the packaging of these, I was instantly drawn in.

There were more products and gift sets on the shelves other than what I have here if you want to check the whole range out - I have since looked online and items seem to be out of stock online but it was still allowing me to view the products when I looked but maybe there'll be some items left in your local boots so you can still purchase if you wish to do so.

Oh, I should probably mention that Boots always offer a pretty good after Christmas / New year sale where they mark all of their gift items down to half price, therefore meaning I paid £10 instead of £20 for the large set in the box and just £4.25 instead of £8.50 for the milk carton looking bath soak - definitely a bargain if you ask me!
I'm completely in love with the packaging and I must admit they were typically Instagram or Pinterest worthy to photograph, I mean just look at them!

Let me know If you found any sales bargains and I hope 2018 is a good one!

Zoella Beauty // Jelly & Gelato!

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog!

Today I'm bringing to you a post that's well overdue by about two months but I still want to post it regardless.
You know what you have a perfectly scheduled plan in your head for something to work out and be organised then it end up going the complete opposite way? Yep! That's what I feel happened here with me and this post but regardless I'm not letting anything stop me and I'm going ahead so I hope you enjoying reading my thoughts on the Jelly & Gelato range from Zoella!

Body Mist:
I think my favourite product is the body mist so I'll start with talking about this!
So far I have owned every single one of the body mists from the various different releases and I've liked all of them! The packaging is always so on point and also looks way more expensive than the product actually is - which brings me onto say that I think they're priced so well and really affordable. Also just rewinding back to the packaging; I love having mine out on display and I tend to reach for the body mist/s on a day to day basis. I mix them up with my perfumes or use them to top up with throughout the day.
The body mist is also super easy and simple to take with you on the go as they are nicely handbag sized!

Shower Sauce:
Onto the Shower Sauce - I’ve been using this everyday for what I want to say must be at least a month and its still going strong!
I find that I don’t have to squeeze much of the product out to be able to get it to lather up, which is probably why it’s lasting me so long!
You can definitely smell the scent of the product when you’re using it but it’s not overpowering at the same time.

Shower Shake:
This product, is again another body wash but it’s different to the Shower Sauce This is more of what I would describe as a in shower moisturiser, so you still use it to wash with it but instead of the product lathering up it’s much more similar in consistency to a moisturiser. I really like using this after I’ve shaved my legs to make them feel extra silky smooth (or use before if you have sensitive skin).

Bath Wafer:
This product is pretty self explanatory, it slowly dissolves when put into or under the water giving of the scent as it does. If you're like me and not always the biggest fan of bubbles then this is something nice to add to your bath without it being too over the top.

Bath Frosting:
This is probably another one of my favourite products out of the whole bunch, inside the container there are four little sachets of the bath frosting which I think are adorable and definitely handy for if you want to take them travelling or for an overnight stay.
I've just been emptying a sachet under running water and letting it work its magic of creating bubbles.

Body Scrub:
Again, this is another self explanatory product. A body scrub does what a body scrub does! I've added this one into my little collection that I have sat in the bathroom. It's definitely one of the gentler ones I own, so if you don't want to use anything that's too harsh against your skin but has a lovely scent then maybe consider giving this a go.

Body Pudding:
This product sort of sticks along the lines of a body scrub as well - although it's labelled as a body cream, which it still is; this does contain tiny beads which do dissolve against your skin as you use it but it just makes it that little bit different and does a helping hand of doing two jobs in one. (to some effect anyway). Obviously its not a body scrub, so please bear that in mind but I'm sure you understand the gist of what I'm trying to say!

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?

ZOELLA BEAUTY : CHRISTMAS.

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog!

I know that the end of January is fast approaching and Christmas is possibly already long behind us but I would still like to share my thoughts with you on the Zoella Beauty Chrismas range. I picked up a small selection from the range which covers most of it without buying all the larger gift sets of products. I have tried products from each previous range and I am yet to be disappointed, so I already knew these products were going to be winners for me, I just wanted to wait until I had tried them all out to be able to speak about them so here we are.

As its already pretty obvious from the packaging and names of the products there is a gingerbread scented theme here, gingerbread and vanilla to be precise!
I honestly think that even if you don't like the scent of gingerbread you wouldn't be put off by the scent of this range as its a subtle scent of gingerbread because the sweet vanilla partly disguises this and it really does just smell like a fresh mix of baking ingredients - good enough to eat! Seriously though, don't. Do not eat. ;)

I think that my favourite product out of what I bought would be a toss up between the body lotions and the body spray as the lotion smells delicious and leaves you feeling silky smooth (as always the lotions from Zoe's range sink into your skin so easily and don't leave you feeling greasy which I love) but the scent of the spray is just so lovely - I've been spraying this on me and around my room in general to make the scent last even longer.
I really do think Zoe's products will always be a winner for me, from packaging to price I do genuinely love them; Zoe and her team always seem to deliver!

Have you tried anything from the Zoella Beauty Christmas Range?

ALICE IN WONDERLAND BEAUTY.

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog!

If there's one thing people could associate me with then that is Alice In Wonderland! I've loved the film and book for as long as I can remember and then went on to also fall in love with the recreations and I generally get excited over anything Alice In Wonderland related.
My friends from work are always buying me Alice In Wonderland items as birthday/Christmas presents and some of my long term friends from years ago even went as far as to nick name me HollyAlice!
So, with that said you can only imagine my excitement when I saw these beauty products - I had a meltdown from excitement in Boots I'm not going to lie!

Pamper Me Bath Duo £8.00
How beautiful are the bottles in this set? - I love that they're like the 'Drink Me' bottles from the films! Not to mention that the packaging on this whole range is so perfect and you can tell so much thought has gone into the detail for these.
In this set you get a Bubble Bath and a Body Lotion, so the perfect duo to have some pamper time.

Queen Of Hearts Bath Fizzer Set £5.00
One thing I love is a bath fizzer - I'm not one to have a bath full of bubbles that often, I much prefer a bath bomb or fizzer so I was really happy when I saw these.
Also, they're pink and heart shaped so what's not to love if you're a girly girl like me?

Body Mist & Cosmetic Bag Set £10.00
This little set is probably one of my favourites out of what I picked up, I really love the bag and the style of writing with the quote on it and the two little body mists inside are not only adorable but they're the perfect size to put in your make up bag alongside your make up or to just drop into your handbag and keep with you at all times.
I'm really excited to put my everyday make up into this bag and take with me!

Manicure Set £5.00
I seem to have a weakness for hand creams as they're something that I use on a daily basis so I know I can never have to many of them!
This hand cream gets my approval as it doesn't leave my hands feeling greasy so its a yes from me and it also comes with a beautiful little nail file so you can keep your hands perfectly pampered!

Make Up Palette £7.00
The last item that I picked up was this lovely little eyeshadow/highlight palette. I've seen other Alice In Wonderland Make Up Palettes but I never really seem to like the whole choice of colours so when I saw that these were golds and bronzes I knew that me waiting was finally worth while. I love these colours and the larger highlight is such a stunning colour!
This palette seems like it was made for me and I know I'll get so much use out of it so I'm a very happy Alice! .. I mean Holly! ;)

There are other items in this range such as different little sets and also some lip glosses but I just picked up my favourites and what I thought I would get the most use out of.

Are you an Alice In Wonderland fan? Do you have a favourite Disney Film/Character?

ZOELLA TUTTI FRUITY RANGE.

Hi! My names Holly and I always seem to be ten years behind with new products!
I have this great talent where I buy new products as soon as they come out and then forget that I have them for a few months. Oops! So here we are, a better late than never post on some of the new Zoella Beauty products.
I didn't purchase all the products, just the ones that I thought I would get the most use out of. Also, just before I properly start this post If you want to read my post about some of the original products in the range then I'll leave the link here.

Foam Sweet Foam - Cleansing Shower Gel:
I honestly don't think I've come across a range of products that smell so nice. I really loved the scent of the original products and these new products smell just as lovely.
I'd describe the scent as extremely feminine but a grown up sort of smell as opposed to sweet/fruity/girly.
The colour of this product is pearlescent pink which I think is super cute and I also find that it lathers up easily.

Fresh Fizz - Fragranced Bath Fizzer:
This product is a really good size. It's more or less the shape of a chocolate bar and it consists of four chunks that can be broken off and used in segments.
I find this product to be quite like original bath fizzer in the sense the scent isn't as strong as the other products and it has a light fizz when put into water, which is great for people like me that don't like lots of bubbles and prefer just to add a bit of scent into your bath water.

Lets Spritz - Fragranced Body Mist:
I think I'd have to say that out of the whole collection the body mists are my favourite. I'm obsessed with the scents and the packaging is also really lovely.
This has the same scent as the other products I've mentioned and I'm completely obsessed with it. It's not an overpowering scent but I find that it lasts really well.

Cosmetic/Coin Purse:
Did I need this? No.
Did I want it? Yes! Of course!
I already own too many make up bags and I'm not quite sure what I intend to use this one for but I just thought the make up sketches on the front were really cute.
I might use this to keep in my day to day bag so I can keep all the make up bits and bobs I throw in there together and organised!

Have any of you tried products from the new range?
What's your favourite item?

ZOELLA BEAUTY.

First of all don't judge me!
I know the release of Zoella Beauty was literally so last year, (Naughty Blogger)!
I just need to start of by saying the scent of these products is out of this world! I just can't stop smelling everything and I know where the situation with the body mist is heading.. I'm going to need another one really soon!

This little beauty is brilliant for just dropping into your bath and I love that it looks like a giant chocolate bar so you can just break off a square as you use. The product doesn't smell as strong when it's in the water but then again it's technically fizzed and melted away so I guess that's why! This is perfect if you're like me and don't always want a bath filled with bubbles but still want to make your bath time a little special.

Continuing with the theme of loveliness..
I love the colour of this, with the pearl shine to it. It smells divine and lathers up really easily with the smallest amount.

I am super impressed with this! If you've read any of my previous posts where lotions, body butters or moisturisers are concerned you know that If it doesn't dry straight away then I don't want to know but this just sinks into your skin and smells wonderful.

As I've already said I can't stop spraying this. I even sprayed it on me before going to bed.. I've never done that with a spray before. I think its because it's such a gentle, clean, fresh scent that It's just nice to smell whether it's first thing in the morning, or in my case the last thing at night!

I think Zoe and her team have done really well with bringing this collection together and its something she should be hugely proud of!

Who else has tried Zoella Beauty?
What did you think?
