ZOELLA BEAUTY : CHRISTMAS.

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog!

I know that the end of January is fast approaching and Christmas is possibly already long behind us but I would still like to share my thoughts with you on the Zoella Beauty Chrismas range. I picked up a small selection from the range which covers most of it without buying all the larger gift sets of products. I have tried products from each previous range and I am yet to be disappointed, so I already knew these products were going to be winners for me, I just wanted to wait until I had tried them all out to be able to speak about them so here we are.

As its already pretty obvious from the packaging and names of the products there is a gingerbread scented theme here, gingerbread and vanilla to be precise!
I honestly think that even if you don't like the scent of gingerbread you wouldn't be put off by the scent of this range as its a subtle scent of gingerbread because the sweet vanilla partly disguises this and it really does just smell like a fresh mix of baking ingredients - good enough to eat! Seriously though, don't. Do not eat. ;)

I think that my favourite product out of what I bought would be a toss up between the body lotions and the body spray as the lotion smells delicious and leaves you feeling silky smooth (as always the lotions from Zoe's range sink into your skin so easily and don't leave you feeling greasy which I love) but the scent of the spray is just so lovely - I've been spraying this on me and around my room in general to make the scent last even longer.
I really do think Zoe's products will always be a winner for me, from packaging to price I do genuinely love them; Zoe and her team always seem to deliver!

Have you tried anything from the Zoella Beauty Christmas Range?

ZOEVA MAKE UP BRUSHES.

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog!

Towards the end of last year it was my birthday and so for one of my main presents I asked for these two sets of Zoeva Rose Gold Make Up Brushes. I had a few brushes that I'd collected along the way from various shops and different brands, some being some super cheap but amazing Kabuki brushes from Ebay (more money doesn't always equal better quality but they were foundation/face brushes and I'd used them to death so I really needed some new face brushes which Is why I asked for the set of mainly bigger brushes but what I really wanted was some smaller brushes for doing eye make up looks. As I've said I did have a few but only a small handful and they were all more or less the same brush so I wanted some different ones to help with blending out eyeshadows as well as some for packing on colour and also some for the finer details so this is why I chose the set of smaller sized brushes.

I'm pleased to say I achieved what I set out to do; I now have a foundation brush, a brush which I use for highlight powder or face powder and another which I used for contouring, I've wanted a flat angled brush for a while and this works well for me.
Also all the smaller brushes have made my dreams come true with creating the looks that I have wanted to, my eyeshadow now looks more precise and blended where it should be - I'm certainly not very good at make up so these brushes help make my life so much easier (I think I can just about say it now looks like I have done my make up with my eyes fully open).
Not only is the variety of brushes good but I find that they're really soft against my skin, they don't feel sharp/scratchy over my skin and also they wash really well! I just use warm soap & water and the make up comes off easily, not only this but they dry quickly as well!

Have you tried anything from Zoeva?
Do you have any make up brush recommendations?
